Sagna: I Wouldn't Survived at Arsenal - Bacary Sagna future at Arsenal has been the subject of speculation for a while, following the status of his contract that will expire at the end of this season.
But despite contract negotiations have been conducted, all seem to not go smoothly. Sagna also has recently admitted that he will most likely leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.
"My contract will expire, everyone knows that. I still consider myself as an Arsenal player today," said Sagna on europe1.fr.
"But frankly, we do not make a lot of progress in negotiating a new contract and I thought I was going to stay at Arsenal at the end of the season," he concluded.
Manchester City reportedly interested in signing French defender Arsene Wenger purchased from Auxerre in July 2007.
